Acces to museum entrances:
The two museum entrances can be accessed from: Kalverstraat 92, Sint Luciënsteeg 27, Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 357 and Begijnensloot.
The museum is a twelve-minute walk form Amsterdam's Central Station, via Damrak, Dam Square and Kalverstraat.

 

Public transport:
Trams 1, 2, 5 (stop at Spui)
Trams 4, 9, 14, 16, 24 and 25 (stop at Rokin)

By car:
From rout A10: follow signs for S100, exit 'centrum', follow P signs.
The nearest underground parking facility is 'the Kolk' at Nieuwezijds Kolk.

Another underground garage is located at het Stadhuis/Muziektheater. Coaches can stop on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 357.

Acces for wheelchair users is reasonably good. The museum has lifts, wheelchair lifts and lavatories. If the specially divised route is followed, it is poossible to see almost the entrie permanent exhibitions on hte history of Amsterdam. Temporary shows are not always accessible for wheelchair users. Please enquire in advance.
